Kimberly McIntosh is a writer, researcher and an Associate Social Justice Consultant at Ten Years’ Time. Kimberly was Senior Policy and Research Officer at Child Poverty Action Group. Previously, she was Senior Policy Officer at The Runnymede Trust and Race on the Agenda, where she worked on racial justice issues including the ongoing Windrush scandal, the impact of austerity on Black and Asian women and decolonising the curriculum.

Kimberly is currently writing her first book, black girl, no magic (Borough/HarperCollins, June 2023), a non-fiction essay collection. She has written for a range of publications including The Guardian, The Washington Post, The Independent and Metro and appeared on BBC Radio 4, BBC News and Sky News. She is a trustee at the Women’s Budget Group and Wasafiri magazine.

She has an MSc in International Migration and Public Policy from LSE and BA in History from the University of Manchester.
